Sometimes we find ourselves walking day and night.

This was a Striking Display at the Veterans Home. Baker, California

D. Anson spent some time plaing his music and singing his songs for
the men and women
at the Veterans Home.

Steven spending time talking about THE WALK as a Museum of American
History
and The Walk for The Walk Tour as an effort to bring this project to
the American public.

Natt and I were astonished to see this figure running in the distance,

The walk between the power lines and the fence along IH15

We opted for the edge of the Highway (a no-no) I think, but a very kind

check for our safety. Nice to know they are out there.

Looks fierce but it was just wanting to get back into the shade where
we had interupted
his nap. He was happy to see us leave.

The ground beneath our feet.

Some of the Vets we got to meet at the Veterans Home in Baker, California.
They were
nice enough to share some of their history with us as we shared this
project with them.
Now, it belongs to each of them as much as it does to each of us making
this walk.

Sometimes it takes balance.

Saying Good bye to California and Hello to Nevada

Walking into Las Vegas... it's there in the distance.

A gate with a good yoke.... that is NOT a great joke... still.

lives in service to this
nation. These men died for me. They also died for each of you reading
this.
