The Walk for THE WALK Tour is a walk
across America from Malibu, California
to Washington, D.C. taking the design for
a liner museum of American History
called: THE WALK to the public.
This project is to introduce this new
design for an American History Museum
to the American public. The 3800+ mile
walk should also allow people to
understand that we do not
believe it will be an easy project, but
that it is possible to do difficult things
when the desire is there, and like the
history of this continent and this nation,
The Walk has been filled with bright
moments, exhillerating adventures
and some set backs. Each of these
has added to what we are as a nation
and who we are as a people.

ALBUM PAGES
I can share another wheat field with you. I marvel at the act of farming.
Day after day
doing things that; in the end, bring food to our tables. From me: Thank
you!
Coming in to Salina I saw this giant windmill farm. Not only Giant Windmills,
but
too many of them to count. I remember driving along Scenic Hwy in Pensacola,
Florida watching them load the motor covers and the blades, wanting
to see them
up and running. Today was my day to do just that!
This is for my friends in Pensacola who may never get to see how these
wonders
look put together. I wish you all were here.
For everyone that doesn't live in Pensacola, Florida -- The flag is
attached to a
cover. These covers are about the size of a motorhome! They don't look
it from
a distance.
It's nice to see things from years gone by. Tough toys that could be
played with
and remembered.
Salina is a very clean town. This church fit the setting perfectly.
This picture doesn't do the corner justice. The colors radiated from
the sign that
read FLOWER POWER in every direction.
Many of the houses in this quiet town spruce up their yards and fences
with a personal
touch.
This one was really hard to wander by without looking at each item.
Members and Posts of
these organizations have
given us support along
our journey. I hope
this projects serves them
as well as they have served
this nation --
and us while we walk.
The links below can take
you to personal myspace
pages. I hope you will
keep up with what
we are doing, and add
to the project: drop us
a note, suggestions or
comments.
This site follows us as we make our way along America's roads
and highways, but this project is about raising awareness for a linear
museum of American History called: The
Walk.
The project is about one individual and then another: not one
more important than the next, but each a link in the chain we call "America."
Millions of stories that should never be forgotten, perhaps preventing
some future American from making their mistakes, or leading the next
generation to a brighter future.
Our future is not written in stone. It never was. This nation
was not left to us as a gift. It was left to us as a challenge. We can
do no more. We should do no less.
I hope you enjoy looking
at these pages. Maybe
return to our beginning
and walk with us,
enjoy the things we saw
and maybe laugh at some
of the things we did.
Some suggest we have
lost our minds. Maybe.
May just ask if they
can help us. When I hear
that question, I am forced
to admit, "Many people hope you can."
