The Walk for THE WALK Tour is a walk
across America from Malibu, California
to Washington, D.C. taking the design for
a liner museum of American History
called: THE WALK to the public.
This project is to introduce this new
design for an American History Museum
to the American public. The 3800+ mile
walk should also allow people to
understand that we do not
believe it will be an easy project, but
that it is possible to do difficult things
when the desire is there, and like the
history of this continent and this nation,
The Walk has been filled with bright
moments, exhillerating adventures
and some set backs. Each of these
has added to what we are as a nation
and who we are as a people.

WALK ACROSS AMERICA: PHOTO ALBUM PAGES

Two out of three of my favorite ways to see this country. A Jeep and
a motorcycle.

This Post Commander left for a moment and returned with two bananas
for me
to take as I made my way east on HWY 40. The young woman next to him
gave me three bottles of water while I rested at this comfortable post.

This was a day of color everywhere. Cardinals, Blue Birds, Woodpeckers
and Orioles fluttering about on every side with kites, hawks and buzzards
soaring overhead.

This shady creek seemed peaceful and cool. I watched the birds for a
minute,
then continued on.

Corn, Soy, Wheat and Milo are some of the major Kansas crops. This field
is green
with soy plants, the wheat has been cut from the back field.

I couldn't help but try and race this train and it pulled by. I had
to give up after
about a quarter mile. It was either moving faster than it appeared or
I'm just
getting a lot slower.

So much of Kansas reflects just how much work it is to feed us.

This appears to be what was used to plant seeds, but that is only my
guess.
It has been retired and placed near the road, I'm sure to remind the
owner
and others how times have change.
Thanks for following along as we travel
across America.
I hope you look at the pages that introduce
THE WALK: A linear museum of American History
while you're here.

I loved the lobby decorated with 0Z characters.

D. Anson Brody's My Space
This site follows us as we make our way along America's roads
and highways, but this project is about raising awareness for a linear
museum of American History called: The
Walk.
The project is about one individual and then another: not one
more important than the next, but each a link in the chain we call "America."
Millions of stories that should never be forgotten, perhaps preventing
some future American from making their mistakes, or leading the next
generation to a brighter future.
Our future is not written in stone. It never was. This nation
was not left to us as a gift. It was left to us as a challenge. We can
do no more. We should do no less.
I hope you enjoy looking
at these pages. Maybe
return to our beginning
and walk with us,
enjoy the things we saw
and maybe laugh at some
of the things we did.
Some suggest we have
lost our minds. Maybe.
May just ask if they
can help us. When I hear
that question, I am forced
to admit, "Many people hope you can."
