The Faces Exhibit will be made of portraits
on tiles creating a Wall of men and women
who have been killed in combat. The Faces
Exhibit will be constructed in San Antonio, Tx.

Along a road that would seem to have nothing
but farms, I came across this surprising
sign. I went in and had a great pancake
breakfast.

The Walk for THE WALK Tour is a walk
across America from Malibu, California
to Washington, D.C. taking the design for
a liner museum of American History
called: THE WALK to the public.

This project is to introduce this new
design for an American History Museum
to the American public. The 3800+ mile
walk should also allow people to
understand that we do not
believe it will be an easy project, but
that it is possible to do difficult things
when the desire is there, and like the
history of this continent and this nation,
The Walk has been filled with bright
moments, exhillerating adventures
and some set backs. Each of these
has added to what we are as a nation
and who we are as a people.

TRAVEL -

Sometimes the tracks are slightly above me and sometimes they stretch out below
the road I walk along.

Six miles up and six miles back. It was nice to visit Harmony, though most of this
journey has been in harmony.

This is a bright and happy sunflower!

The butterflies were with me all day. This one seemed to follow along beside me
for more than a mile.

A tigertail, the wings look like the powder would blow off with the slightest wind.

Butterflies, bees, wasps and other bugs.

On and on as the song goes.

And sometimes it does seem the road goes on and on.

It began as a pumpkin patch. Then, they added a Saturday Breakfast, a children's
book shop, playground, maze and they're still thinking. If you are lost in Illinois,
stop by this place. It's worth finding!

What a surprise to find this behind a stand of trees.

This site follows us as we make our way along America's roads and highways, but this project is about raising awareness for a linear museum of American History called: The Walk.

The project is about one individual and then another: not one more important than the next, but each a link in the chain we call "America."
Millions of stories that should never be forgotten, perhaps preventing some future American from making their mistakes, or leading the next generation to a brighter future.

Our future is not written in stone. It never was. This nation was not left to us as a gift. It was left to us as a challenge. We can do no more. We should do no less.
