The Walk for THE WALK Tour is a walk
across America from Malibu, California
to Washington, D.C. taking the design for
a liner museum of American History
called: THE WALK to the public.
This project is to introduce this new
design for an American History Museum
to the American public. The 3800+ mile
walk should also allow people to
understand that we do not
believe it will be an easy project, but
that it is possible to do difficult things
when the desire is there, and like the
history of this continent and this nation,
The Walk has been filled with bright
moments, exhillerating adventures
and some set backs. Each of these
has added to what we are as a nation
and who we are as a people.
TRAVEL - Walking
Across America for
The American History Museum
This collection of statues amounts to a piece of installation art. I
couldn't find
anyone to take a photo of me running - as if trying to keep pace. Oh
well.
The attention to detail, I am certain, was aided by the thousands of
these animals
that live in this region of the country.
If I was watching a football game this would be the fifty yard line
- front seat -
at a horse race... I have no clue. Maybe someone will let me know.
This allows you to study everything, without getting covered with dust
--- and
other stuff.
It isn't often not penaty is assessed for a foal play in sports. I guess
not likely for
a fowl play, either.
Okay, I have spent a long time in this park and showing you what I saw.
Still,
I hoped you enjoyed seeing these as much as I did.
I walked into a Pizza Shop to find it even more bizzare on the inside.
The staff seemed
well suited, they were a mix of wizzards, goddesses and faeries.
I would suppose you could even look at your pizza, but I can't imagine
why.
No! This is not a ad for jif or smuckers but how can you not pass this
and smile.
I didn't know Smucker made Jif - but how perfect is that!
I thought Trojan was in the business of preventing labor...
My deepest sympathy to those who feel a need to be politically correct
ALL of the time.
Members and Posts of
these organizations have
given us support along
our journey. I hope
this projects serves them
as well as they have served
this nation --
and us while we walk.
The links below can take
you to personal myspace
pages. I hope you will
keep up with what
we are doing, and add
to the project: drop us
a note, suggestions or
comments.
This site follows us as we make our way along America's
roads and highways, but this project is about raising awareness for
a linear museum of American History called: The
Walk.
The project is about one individual and then another:
not one more important than the next, but each a link in the chain we
call "America."
Millions of stories that should never be forgotten, perhaps preventing
some future American from making their mistakes, or leading the next
generation to a brighter future.
Our future is not written in stone. It never was. This
nation was not left to us as a gift. It was left to us as a challenge.
We can do no more. We should do no less.
I hope you enjoy looking
at these pages. Maybe
return to our beginning
and walk with us,
enjoy the things we saw
and maybe laugh at some
of the things we did.
Some suggest we have
lost our minds. Maybe.
May just ask if they
can help us. When I hear
that question, I am forced
to admit, "Many people hope you can."
