The Walk for THE WALK Tour is a walk
across America from Malibu, California
to Washington, D.C. taking the design for
a liner museum of American History
called: THE WALK to the public.
This project is to introduce this new
design for an American History Museum
to the American public. The 3800+ mile
walk should also allow people to
understand that we do not
believe it will be an easy project, but
that it is possible to do difficult things
when the desire is there, and like the
history of this continent and this nation,
The Walk has been filled with bright
moments, exhillerating adventures
and some set backs. Each of these
has added to what we are as a nation
and who we are as a people.

These cows seemed to be very happy to be in the shade of these weeping
willows.
Many years ago, someone placed a sign on this barn for a Gift Shop some
miles
ahead. It would be sad to know the sign had outlived the shop, but I
could not
find the shop.
Many of the farms in Virginia were around before many of our States
joined
the Union. Many before the 13 Colonies were united.
I suspect there might have been stands like this along the roads two
hundred
years ago.
This was the first corn field I saw that reminded me of the way Asians
plant rice.
This VFW has a great location for keeping your powder dry.
A Motorcycle passed with speakers screaming out the words to "Country
Roads"
and I looked up at the Blue Ridge Mountains as I heard the lines ...
Shenadoah River... a varoom of the engine and he was too far down the
road
to hear the rest of the song. Still, it joyfully spun about in my head
the rest of the day.
I saw this Chevy truck resting in this stand of trees. I wonder what
the back was
designed to carry.

This site follows us as we make our way along America's
roads and highways, but this project is about raising awareness for
a linear museum of American History called: The
Walk.
The project is about one individual and then another:
not one more important than the next, but each a link in the chain we
call "America."
Millions of stories that should never be forgotten, perhaps preventing
some future American from making their mistakes, or leading the next
generation to a brighter future.
Our future is not written in stone. It never was. This nation was not left to us as a gift. It was left to us as a challenge. We can do no more. We should do no less.
I hope you enjoy looking

return to our beginning
and walk with us,
enjoy the things we saw
and maybe laugh at some
of the things we did.
Some suggest we have
lost our minds. Maybe.
