THE WALK begins a parallel course. One course continues that of
THE NEW WORLD WALK
while
THE AMERICAN WALK
begins.
These two paths run parallel courses, with connections here and there
along
the path.
As each territory or region becomes a part of
THE UNITED STATES,
the history of that area moves from
THE NEW WORLD WALK
to join that path of
THE AMERICAN WALK.
Each State, Commonwealth, District or Republic is afforded
the opportunity to place an exhibit at that point in time;
as reflected along the walk, a plaque, sculpture, monument,
cultural center or living history facility. That area becomes
the property of that individual State, the monies that are generated
on that facility are also property of that State.
Many City Goverments may elect to present requests
and be allowed to create and place a plaque, sculpture, monument,
cultural center or living history facility at a point in time
where that individual City State presented a moment
in history that allows for such a presentation. An example might
include Abilene, Kansas or Deadwood, South Dakota
during the mid to late eighteen hundreds.
Like the properties of the State facilities, these City States
retain all rights to the monies that generated on that property
are retained by that City State.
Nation States are invited to create and display plaques,
sculptures, monuments, cultural centers or living history facilities
at that point in time where their first citizen arrived on this continent
or other time if appropriate cause is found. More than a single
exhibit may be allowed for those Nation States that elect
to create adjunct academic facilities (Universities) along the museum's
path.
Companies may elect to petition to place plaques,
sculptures, monuments, cultural centers or living history facilities
at an appropriate point in time that is reflected along
THE WALK's historical timeline. Such an exhibit might
include a display of an asymby line created by Henry Ford.
Monies generated on these properties would be retained
by those Companies and/or Corporations,
with the approval of the Director and/or
The Board of Directors of
THE WALK
or its parent University.
Why would Cities, States or other Nations want to build on such a project?
Quickly stated, they have as much to gain in us learning who they are
and who we are.
Still, We too will gain by learning who we are.
The fact is: WE are THEY
and: THEY are WE.
I believe this project will have continued benefits for generations
to come.
Generations of Americans.
Generations of Europeans.
Generations of Australians.
Genereations of Africans.
Generations of Asians.
Generations of Arabs.
Generations of Islanders.
and the list goes on.
Benefits listed next.
