From time to time we here people; both
in Washington and local governments that
claim to be searching outside the box
for creative ways to resolve some of the issues
facing us today.
While attempting to access information outside the box,
they never avail themselves to those who are still looking
for the box.
Artists; in all their diverse forms, were
sought after for these abilities
by world leaders for many
thousands of years.
In this age where science has proven
to provide us with so many wonderful
new toys, it is easy to forget,
artists were almost always at the
fountain head of these ideas.
While may artists find business skills
problematic, they are; in fact:
entrepreneurs at the base level.
The term base may sound unimportant.
It is nothing but another word for
FOUNDATION!
As The Walk views economics
as an ecosystem, those who create
from nothing must be cared for carefully.
Just as the mammals at the top of their
food chain are endangered at the loss
of those animals at the bottom,
no matter how far they may be removed from
that which they themselves eat,
we must adopt a policy that
reflects that kind of understanding
within the eco-ecosystem.
The term Artists used by The Walk
include those engaged in:
Drawing
Painting
Writing
Playing Music
Singing
Mime
Dance
Clowns
Acrobats
Jugglers
Comedians
Actors
and others
Other Entrepreneurs include:
Crafts People
Food and Drink Venders
Flower Sales
Fruit Stands
News Stands
Shoe Shine Chairs
Product Venders
and others.
All of the above entrepreneurs must adhere to the
51% rule that applies equally to all those businesses
that are adjacent The Walk. Simply stated, it
means the Owner and/or CEO must be on premise
51% of the hours that shop or business in open.
All of the above entrepreneurs must also adhere to the
restrictions of The Walk's Time-line feature in both
the conduct of their business and their attire.
