The Walk Hotels and places to stay

HOTELS
Hotels range from luxury to economy. The hotels connected to The Walk
are as varied as the path itself. Some have rooms below ground while
others have balconies that blend into the landscape, when viewed from
The Walk. Hotels are located all along The Walk and adhere to the
architectural time-line design of the project.

Pick an era you wish to visit and be assured you will find accomodations
that fit the time and place you choose to experience.

MOTELS

Pick the time you wish to visit and stay at one of many modern
Hotels or Motels along the Highway or Major road leading to
THE WALK or elect to stay at one of the accomodations along
the linear museum's path.

NOTE: vehicle restrictions apply and enforcement is strict.
Vehicles may only enter and/or park that were desiged and
constructed after the date reflected along The Walk.

BED & BREAKFASTS

Bed and Breakfasts along the walk are unique experiences.
Each follows the design of The Walk's Timeline, so don't
be too surprised to find candles or gas lamps during the
years before the advent of the electric light bulb.

CONDO RENTALS

Condos are available for rent along the time-line.
While each of these follows the time-line design
from the point as viewed from THE WALK,
may have many contempory amenities behind
the scenes.

RV PARKS

RV Parks abound and may be counted on to be as diverse as
the other accomodations along The Walk's Time-line. Those
located before the 1980s are located along the highway
or connecting roads that provide access to the museum
but may not enter the roadways that are a part of
The Walk Museum.

CAMPING

Some campsites are located within The Walk Museum. These are remote: while
designed primarily for back-packers and cyclists, may be used by others who
may choose to park some distance and hike in. Facilities; including showers,
are available, but by no means considered luxury accomodations.

Some of the cabins have only the basics and are merely a small step removed
from sleeping under the stars. Others; while maintaining a quaint look on
the exterior may be quite modern.
