Since I'm not all that bright, I am forced to keep
things pretty simple.

Because I paint for a living: drawing houses that
look like houses and horses that appear to be horses,
I am used to spending more time observing than
drawing or painting. I think that is what most
artists do.

None the less, I decided a very long time ago,
I needed to simplify my core philosophy about
life and how it works.

This is my current position. One plus one = two.
I wish it were more complicated than that, but
that is all there is to it: one plus one = two.

I believe everything in life can be looked at
just that simply.

One Plus One = TWO!

So, where to all the complexities we see
around us almost all the time. I think we
spend a lot of time doing things more than
we observe and think about them.

One plus one = 2. The problems arise when
people; in a well delivered manner, try and
explain how one plus one = 3 or 1+1=8.

The simple truth is: They don't -- EVER!

This is the moment things get complicated.
We must decide if they are wrong or lying
about the question or the answer.

Either they aren't trying to add 1+1 or
the answer isn't 2. It is us to each of us
to decide whether we believe they are
wrong or lying about the question or
are they wrong or lying about the answer.
One or the other is true.
That is: 1+1=2!
