The Walk's view of small business may differ from what many to be considered the norm. That should not suggest The Walk's plan does not believe businesses should be allowed to grow as large as the economic climate will allow but also projects onto the economic policy a philosphy discussed and covered by our view of this as an eco-ecosystem.

It is a historical reality that most small businesses wanting to become involved in industries that are dominated by many of the largest companies and/or corporations are not allowed; by law, to follow the same path these companies and corporations followed. To level the playing field, The Walk, extends an advantage to those small businesses that are owner operated and/or those who have on-site ownership. The Walk's design plan allows these owner/operated businesses to be contiguous to the physical path.

Franchise Operations and such companies and corporations that have multiple busiiness sites are very welcome to be a part of this project, while there is a call for such projects to be located just off the time-line path. Such operations can meet the requirements while enjoying many of The Walk's unique benefits.

Each business, whether is operates contiguous to the time-line or connected by extended patios or walkways must conform to the rules and regulations provided to each specific area as it relates to the time-line placement. This includes; but is not limited to: architecture, dress and other elements that may serve to define a specific time period.
