TOWNS AND CITIES
Cultural Centers
Living History Exhibits

Boston, Deadwood, Chicago, San Antonio

There are hundreds of towns and cities in the United States, their very
names conjure up visons in our imaginations. Many of these will be
invited or may request to become a part of The Walk's Time-line
experience.

The over-all placement of such exhibits will be reflected by others
along the walk. They will be centers just off The Walk's main path,
at that point in time reflected by the presentaion each wishes to
create.

These sites should be designed by citizens of these states. Employees
working at these sites should be from the individuals state being
represented and the products being exhibited or sold should be
designed, made or constructed in the State represented or on
the property where the exhibit is being presented.

Perhaps one of the most unique facets of The Walk's design
calls for (embassy-like) ownership of the property. The sales
that take place would follow the tax codes of each State and
that State would be responsible for the collection of those taxes.
Likewise, the laws of those individual states should apply, though
special accomodations would be made to allow law enforcement
when the need arises, to those officers of the State where
The Walk exisits at that point; when and if The Walk should
cross State lines.

Living History exhibits may choose to create a single path that
leads from the edge of the walk, or create two points that may
be entered or exited creating traffic flow that; more or less,
parallels The Walk's Brickwalk Design.
