Students applying to attend The Walk's Primary University should begin
early.
The admissions office looks for to accpet only the best Students: those
who
they believe will push themselves toward success, while adapting to
the
unique and diverse invironment.
While the GPA is an important concern,
an interview may be granted and given weight
for students applying who have shown
great achievement in other areas;
such as, but not limited to:
Military Service
Peace Corps
Community Projects
Awards such as Eagle Scout from Noted Organizations.
It shall be the goal to never
mistake certified
as qualified;
whereas,
qualified
should always be awarded as Certified.
Students attending classes at the Primary University may op to take
language course
at one of the many adjunct Universities.
Students who are interested in a particular
cultural experience may elect to attend one of these adjunct facilities
for courses the Primary University may not provide.
Students wishing to benefit from the unique experience
of attending classes in along THE WALK;
who; for whatever reason, fail to become a part of the Primary University
Student body,
may also decide to attend one of the adjunct Universities.
The various arteries planned (outside The Walks main pathways) will
help
students make their class experience easier
and allow easier access to their dorms or off-campus housing.
Students attending classes at any of these Universities may
avail themselves of the diverse job market THE WALK provides
or elect to work along The Walk as an artist, musician
or any one of hundreds of other possibilities.
Students from Unversities around the nation
and the world
are sure to find time to visit this unique
Educational and Cultural Environment.
Spring Breakers may find time to learn
as well as party in along a walk where
both are encouraged!
